Long and tight! Needs very good club management as you just can't overpower it. Some long par fours require very good shot shaping if you're a long hitter and want to hit the greens in two. Minor criticism is some long walk between holes. Overall, looks a very nice tricky course but obviously our day was masked by uber rain.

played there in april, glorious weather, I preffered the the lakes course rather than the national, only my opinon

Played the Lakes the day before in decent weather. Quirky course and good variety. Couldn't compare to the National as it was so wet.
