Waiting for new clubs is horrendously painful!

Bloke on eBay left the feedback:

"Prompt Payment, will be posting Monday"..

His postage charges were only £5 quid though (most postage charges for iron sets are £10)...so I figure he's using some 48 hour courier service or something similar.

So I don't have an exact delivery date, but I'm guessing (hoping!) they'll be here tomorrow or at the very least before saturday.

I won these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250695426064&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I'm like a little kid waiting for Christmas!

Hope you like your new clubs, the anticipation for the delivery will be unbearable by the afternoon and you finish work shortly.... I hate that!

Good news/bad news.

Good news, heard from the seller and they're officially on the way via Parcelforce 48 hour (though I can't get the tracking number to work).

Bad news, they weren't posted til today so I have to wait until Thursday! Bugger! Oh well, I'm getting out for 18 on Saturday, so will be able to test drive them (sh**k, top etc.. :D) then.

Parcel farce managed to take 6 days on a 24hr delivery. Their tracking system updates once a week. They are a waste of space.

I know how you feel though. My hybrid took about 4 days to appear, and my 4 wood took 3 weeks. Every day is a 'ooh, is it here yet' day.

Oh great! Way to cheer me up!

they'll be too big and heavy for parcel farce's delivery person so they'll only have the 'we called but you were out' card - just make sure you know where the depot is.

you have to think of these things! :D

Just taken delivery of my MP-57's. Only had a look at the 4 iron but if the quality of the rest of them is anything like it, I may have just got the bargain of the century! I will post pics later to show just how good condition they're in!

They're a joy to look at. Just hope I can hit them now! :D

Good man and I hope you enjoy them although watching it rain and thunder as I type this I'm not sure how the forecast is stacking up for the weekend. Remember that there will be a euphoric early success as there is with all new clubs and then a sharp downswing in fortunes where buyers regret may set in. Be strong my friend and endure this blip as you and your new clubs become acquainted and good buddies. They will suddenly relish their new home and brilliant owner who treats them with loving care and cleans them and dries them out when they are wet and will respond by sending long irons far out towards a distant green. Short irons will nestle by the hole like an old dog in front of an open fire. You will be happy and they may yield much gold.
