Anyone else think they are totally spoiling the atmosphere at the WC? You can't hear any singing, it's impossible to hear which set of fans are making the noise. Even when there's a goal the celebrations are drowned out by the damn things.

I can't imagine what pleasure anyone gets from blowing one of those for 90 minutes.

Totally spoiling it.
Remember though, each match has a majority of new fans in attendance so none of them are fed up with it already unlike us!

Not sure I can stand another day of this racket. They should be banned as should all the stupid drums & trumpets.

If someone was behind me playing one, i'd be tempted to shove it up their ar$e.

I watched the England game with the mute on and haven't watched another match, if they'd even just turn down the stadium drone and turn up the commentators it might be tolerable.

Yes. My sentiments exactly.

When I was a teenager I had a sign on my bedroom door

" It It's Too Loud.... You're Too Old"

My Mum & Dad Stopped Complaining quite quickly

You are all just a bunch of old frats (SP)

I don't mind noise, I just want the noise to be vaguely related to football.

Call me old fashioned I've always liked being able to here the crowd singing, the reaction to things that happen during the game, the celebration when someone scores and not least the ref's whistle.

Vuvuzelas don't create an atmosphere, they kill it.

I love them - all part of a world cup on a different continent.

I could hear the Mexico fans singing fine last night as well - perhaps the fans just need to sing a bit louder.
