Last week I had not done any reading up of who was playing etc so I had a quick look and I have to say many of the names didn't exactly 'light my fire'.

But.........I have watched a fair bit of it and I think it is great to see these man playing Matchplay and even the lesser likes (Jamieson etc) have been great to watch and by jesus Closarts can go deep mind!!

There needs to be a wee bit more of both Matchplay and team golf IMO...............bring back the old Dunhill,now that was a superb golf event!!

I couldn't agree more. I love playing team events and I would like to watch more too.

I like the fact that the players are taking on shots they wouldn't usually take on week to week.

Can't beat team spirit and a good ole friendly rivally for upping the game. Some of the 'lesser' players out there are making a good name for themselves.
