Just back from my 5 days in Portugal, I had a really lovely time, The Old Course is superb and a pleasure to play, a lovely variety of holes, the greens were in great condition and fast, a real change to what I have been used to. I also played at the Pinhal course which was interesting, and set around a housing estate playing involves crossing one road about 4 times. I to had some nice holes although the greens weren't in a good condition as the old course, they had lots of tricky slopes and were equally as fast.

It was my first trip to Portugal but hopefully not my last.

I had 5 days in vilamoura last year, on a boys golf trip, and we are going back in May. Fantastic place to go golfing. Great weather, great courses, great night life.

What's not to like!

Old course is a cracker. Mind you when I last played there were only two courses in Vilamoura
