Vilamoura question

I'm going on a 4 day break to Vilamoura in October with eleven others from my club. We get into Faro at 1050 on the Sunday morning, and some of the lads want to get get a game in on this first day. The other 3 days are all booked up so thats not a problem, I'm just wondering what is better for the first day - to book something before we go, or do it 'on spec' when we get there. I'm a bit concerned that if we book before and flights are delayed we will miss tee times. Is it easy to book something on the day and get transfers to the course?

October could be a struggle to just turn up with 12.Sure there will be a course that you could but you are taking a chance and could end up spending an hour fannying around.

Loads of courses within your reach,see if you can make a reservation without payment maybe?

Cheers Dodger for the advice. I didn't really make myself clear in the original post as I think there are probably only 4 of us looking to play first day.
