Vilamoura Courses

I've been lucky enough to travel here at least once a year for the last 5 years and wonder what other people opinion was on the 6 (if you count Vila Sol) courses there, and peoples favourite. Just in the process of booking the Tivoli for June time and I'm going to play 5 rounds. For me I love the Old Course, the maturity of the course and the superb clubhouse and pratice facilities. Vila Sol is another excellent challenge and the greens are tretcherous (spelling?). I played the Victoria course for the first time last year and was impressed although still in its infancy its going to be one of the best courses on the Algarve by the look of it.

I know there are great courses all along the Algarve coast-line but I love the fact that here there is every course you need on your door-step and the hotel shuttle bus service to the courses is awesome, its just so easy, no effort at all and saves a lot of money and effort with taxi's. Im already getting excited!

Vilamoura Old Course is a 'must play' for me when I'm in the area. Quita do Lago courses are also two of my favourites. I like Palmares for it's two very different halves. I like Boavista, but probably only because I have always had a good score there. Vila Sol is good if your are on the original 18.

They're all pretty good in that area. Hope you envoy your next visit.
