Another comedy talent has died. I thought her songs and use of the English language were funnier and better that her comedic characters but another very sad loss

My son told me just after the news broke on social media and I just couldn't take it in.
Loved As seen on TV & Dinnerladies and her many stand up specials. I watched and endlessly played back "Acorn Antiques" on my VHS every week. It was pant-wettingly hilarious and so so soooo beautifully observed.
She was a true example of that grossly overused expression "A true genius".

The song epitomised Victoria Wood. Something that seemed so simply, so beautifully crafted, so well versed, the slightest hint of naughtiness and so funny.
Only just heard about this after coming in tonight, very sad news, remember her in the very early days on That's Life, she was always destined for greatness, very naturally funny lady.
