Very confused. Just had dinner on next table to Richard Boxall and Mrs B in deepest Bracknell. Is he not part of Sky this week.

Definitely him. Bar staff confirmed name on payment and he was talking Scottish Open and British Open to several others who recognised him

What's confusing? The Open doesn't start until Thursday. I managed to drive from Lincoln to Fife in 5 hours so can't be distance that's confusing surely?

In my defence I asked my favourite barmaid and she simply looked at the booking/payment. My confusion was more about the fact most others are in situ already and wondered why he wasn't. Simple as that other than making sure it wasn't mistaken identity

Difficult I'd say to think "mistaken identity" with such a well known face (and voice) to us golfers, and given that he talked golf to several others who recognised him and spoke to him??
