Just planning annual Golf trip to Spain & local pro tells me that there's a 4-ball deal @ Valderrama for eu600 all in.

Anyone tell me if it it's worth it? Can it be more than twice as good as (say) Santana?

I've never played there but it always ranks highly in top100 lists.
For that and the pure history of the place I'd go for it if it doesn't mean sacrificing anything else money wise.

Thats a decent price so I would say if you have the money play it because it's a great course which you can only fully understand how difficult it is to play by getting out and playing it yourself.

Is it worth it??? I would say everyone should try and play it once. You can play a lot of courses for the price but it's nice to say you've played it...but I wouldn't pay to play it again.

Played Santana also, nice holiday golf course but Valderrama is a step up.

Was at the Euro tour event in late October and I thought the course was fantastic. Totally different to other Costa del Sol courses even down to the type of grasses used (more like you get here rather than that stiff wiry grass that's the norm over there). I said at the time that I'd be willing to shell out quite a bit to play it. I don't think you'd be disappointed.
