Round 1 - Score 76 - 7/12 Fairways - 7/18 Greens - 35 Putts - 3 upNdowns out of 11
Round 2 - Score 79 - 7/12 Fairways - 6/18 Greens - 37 Putts - 0 upNdowns out of 12
Round 3 - Score 75 - 8/12 Fairways - 5/18 Greens - 31 Putts - 4 upNdowns out of 13
Round 4 - Score 77 - 7/12 Fairways - 6/18 Greens - 34 Putts - 3 upNdowns out of 12
Round 5 - Score 77 - 7/12 Fairways - 3/18 Greens - 28 Putts - 4 upNdowns out of 15
Round 6 - Score 73 - 5/12 Fairways - 6/18 Greens - 32 Putts - 5 upNdowns out of 12

I think recording these basic stats over the last 6 Rounds has really shown me what i need to do to improve my game.
Quite happy with my driving, For sure missing too many greens, and when i do miss the greens my chipping game could for sure do with some improving, My putting i think is pretty decent too, had quite a few 1 putts and a few 0 putts, mainly 2 putting.

I know i miss alot of greens but on my course there is 6 par 3s and they are really difficult holes
The Par 4s range from 270 - to 380 yards, smallish greens, No par 5s

Any comments welcomed

would possibly question the putting, looks like a lot of putts in some of the rounds considering how many greens you miss, especially if only small greens. Based on the stats hard to know whether the short game or putting makes up the majority of the room for improvement, but theyd definitely be the 2 areas of focus

I do often 2 putt, When ive missed a green as you can see in my stats my up and downs isnt that good
So often missing the birdie and par putts

I am missing too many greens. Even I don't need stats to tell me that. Putting and scrambling (sand saves in particular) on the up. Driving is at 52% this year and 8% better already than last season but I cannot find the dance floor. Work to be done.

These stats gotta help in some way, there basic but over the last 6 rounds its very clear im missing too many greens
Any advice how i could improve that?

Just tarted using ScoreSaver2, I'll let you know next year.

Me too. Wonder if its anything to do with the new price :D

It's already making a difference as its telling me, in no uncertain terms, that I miss greens short 5 times more than I miss them long. So I'm clubbing up and giving myself a chance to reach.

Related to my other post, it depends how you are missing them. Are you left, right, long, short?

That was great, thanks for posting. I'm the guy who can't believe he's missed the green from 100 yards :o

I definitely need to stop going for the miracle shot. If it comes off I'll have a one putt, but more often it misses the green and then its a chip and a two putt more often than not. I'm more likely to two putt from on the green that get up and down from just off it.

Interesting to read how pros are 10 yards or more from the pin on average. I'd never have guessed that. Something to consider next time out.

I’m not sure why stats are going to help any ones game unless they are a pro. Surely you were on the course when the shots were played and know full well you missed a fair few fairways or greens.

I don’t need stats to tell me my putting is sheer Hite… I was there ;)

Just sound like over complicating things to me

Too many stats would be too much and silly for me but these stats very basic, just to let me know what im actually doing

Chip it closer and hole more putts :)

Maybe :)

Good article, I'm currently trying to swing a lot smoother, at the moment I'm hitting my 6 iron 150yds, and working up and down from there by 10yds each club. Working well at the moment with some good results.
