Using 2-fore-1 and DeVere vouchers - North-East England

Got some of these with my golf insurance and want to get the best value out of them as possible. Originally from Northern Ireland and only golfer I know in the north of England is my brother who can rarely get time off whereas I can get flexi days quite easily.

So basically I'm looking for golfing partners of roughly the same ability as me (handicap of 20+) in the rough area of NE/Cumbria (or who don't mind a bit of travelling) to buddy up with and use these vouchers during the week over the next couple of months.

I'm a 28 year old lad who loves golf but isn't very good at it. If you're really good or massively serious, I may not be your golf partner but I do stick to the rules and will half all fees with anyone.

Also looking for generally golf partners so let me know if you're in this area and looking for someone to buddy up with on a weekend.

Like you I'm 28 and a 20 plus handicapper, though like everyone I'm optimistic.

I don't have a membership but I'm thinking about talking to a local golf club about possibly doing some web design for them in exchange for some games.

I'm playing today but won't be able to play until w/e 26+27th so let me know what and where.

I have just bought golf insurance today (hurray!!!) and it includes De Vere vouchers and 2 fore 1 vouchers,probably the same as what you have got.

Like you I am a new golfer high handicapper (if I had one!)
Absolutely love golf mate.I try to play twice a week even in winter.

Unfortunately I am not a car driver so rely on help at times..other times I bus it to my local course! Hows that for keenness!...I am from Newcastle area and have had a few games already with another poster in this thread...Kevin..good lad he is....

I am also looking for golfing buddys..the more the merrier...

One thing you have over me is age...I'm a rocking 22 years older than you...lol

Had a game today at my course..had a stinker...1st time hit over 100 in a while,gets you down when you play that bad,as been hitting low 90's previously.

If you are planning to play DeVere Slaley with your vouchers then check the small print on the back first - I think they limit you to a max of 2 vouchers per 4 ball

Four ball??!!..That would be a 1st for me then.

I can get time off ANYTIME through the week as I am on flexi time .Thoug at the minute the earliest I could get is from March onwards.

I played Ryton on sunday with Kev Satty and I had a complete stinker, but ever the optimist I WILL put it right in the very near future.
