Useful site- If you need to lace a shoe

Fascinating stuff..........begs the question....what were you searching for:lol:

My 9 year old grandson still struggles to tie his laces whilst his wee sister has done hers perfectly from the age of 4.

Shoelace broke, previously I have just copied another shoe but this time I asked myself

"Is there a better way to lace my shoe?"

Turns out I'm a 'Straight European'

Its a pretty amazing site, lots of easy to follow well designed pages, plenty of options.

Actually I liked it because it was a well designed, thought out website and each different method page has a widget that can be varied for shoe type and stepped through. It is full of images and analysis of each lace too. More than just a list of options, it has advice on teaching kids to tie too!

Interesting question arises? Does anyone have any golf specific lacing or tying method?

Good site! I'll study in depth when I have a bit more time.

Please find time before next Wednesday. I can't be bothered to load up the page, but would appreciate a quick run through whilst enjoying the delights of the Berkshire. Perhaps you could re tie your shoes on each tee box to demonstrate the variety of methods?

In return, I'll help you look for my golf balls.

I've made a start already; I now know that Harvey Kennedy did not invent the shoe lace and I've found the page with the "World's Fastest Shoelace Knot", which I'm determined to learn in time to dazzle you with it on Wednesday.

(I think we'll be well matched for lost golf balls)

My grandson, who is 12, cannot tie his footie laces, neither can two of the other lads in his team. I'll get him to have a look at this site.

Does this mean I have to get custom fitted for shoe laces? I've been using off the shelf ones, maybe that's the problem
