So now their qualifying process is finished 9 players have qualified

Bubba WATSON
Rickie FOWLER
Jim FURYK
Jimmy WALKER
Phil MICKELSON
Matt KUCHAR
Jordan SPIETH
Patrick REED
Zach JOHNSON

So three spots left

Who do you think will get them

I will go for Bradley, Dufner and Simpson

Wouldn't be surprised if Watson went for Woods, Eldrick and Tiger :D

Seriously though, it is going to be a big decision (not in golfing terms) to leave him out the team. The US public will want him in.

I would love it if they picked him - would be a great boost for the European team

Looks like a gash team to me that. I reckon it will be a big victory for Europe this time as it stands.

Not the most intimidating US Ryder Cup side !

I would guess - Stricker, Ryan Moore and Simpson (not the moustachioed one!)

Interesting that, if Kucher pulls out due to injury, the replacement is Dufner, who could also pull out due to injury... who's in 11th spot? Could be their lucky year!

I can't see where people think Stricker fits in on the US team, 30th on the points list and reduced his playing schedule. The US have plenty ahead of him who have also aged Ryder Cup golf

Thought Stricker was named as a vice captain? Could he still end up playing instead?

Yeah, he's the third and final assistant. Can't see anyway he'll be able to do that and play.

Dufner sounds like he really wants some time off to get fit too, and he probably doesn't fancy putting under that pressure!

21st on world rankings, finished 7th at USPGA not missed a cut this year, Ryder Cup experience, good team man. Apart from that I can't think why he should be picked either.

What about those playing better not in the team?

A good team man in the RC? Like he was last time I suppose

I hope they do pick him as he'll get beaten....................again.

Moore, Todd, Bradley: if Kuchar is also out through injury, likely the Duff will be out through injury, would pick on current form Kirk as the replacement.
Tiger being picked would seems to me, where he is with his game, his head & his injuries, plus his Cup record not a real good idea, from our perspective looking at it objectively, but good for you guys if he is in.

However if he gets even half fit can see that Watson would put him in, not good for us, but good for you, currently the European players who have already qualified seem overall on better form.

So I think a win for us would be a bit of a 'turnover'. McGinley can get it done, if he keeps them from thinking it's already a done deal & all they have to do is just turn up.
Hoping for some real good competitive golf & as always the best guys, on the day, will win.
