US PGA Moving to May

Players going to March then US PGA will take its slot - players will have a longer break at the end of the season

We'll get used to it. PGA in August is usually somewhere hot and humid!

Sawgrass will be fine in March. I went there in early Feb and the weather was really good. That's leaves The Open as the last Major. That's fine too.

Saw about that this morning. Won't that clash with the FED Ex finals in the US though, which (I assume) will take some high profile players away from the BMW PGA due to the extra money in the kitty for the PGA Tour event?

This was my thinking too, surely the lines or Rory, ect will be focusing on the FED ex and also every other year the ryder cup towards the end of September that it could easily be removed from their schedules. I know its a rolex event now but that doesn't guarantee they will come.

Isn't part of the point of moving the PGA to May to finished the Season earlier..?
With no PGA in mid August the playoffs could start a week or so earlier so they'd be done by early / mid September.
If our PGA goes to late September it shouldn't clash so the likes of Rory, Sergio, Poults and Rosie may come back for it.

But if they have played 4 week in a row already then they are unlikely too. That's why Rory didn't play the other year. Plus the British masters is currently late September and then the dunhill links. And add in the ryder cup/presidents cup takes guys away.

Yup your right, I thought Rose had been but it was Luke. So Rose next and then back to Poulter.
