Us open distance leader

I assume that is the first round of qualifying with further stages. Big hitter for sure but Oakmont will murder him with its narrow fairways, hideous rough and treacherous greens if he gets there. Which I doubt.

Why would you assume that he cannot handle narrow fairways? If you want to bunt it 260 pull a 5 iron, huge power gives you many many choices on the course.

Many of the established pros find the narrow fairways of Oakmont a challenge. Sadlowski faces the same challenge hitting the fairway with his 5 iron as Jim Furyk does with a driver, and the real fun then starts.

Happy to back up by skepticism of Sadlowski's chances with a modest wager. You in?

Obviously he is an outside bet to qualify, that is the nature of qualifying, but i would be that if you put a green at 260 yards and gave Sadlowski and Furyk 50 balls each Jamie would hit the green more often

At 260 yards I'd have my money on Furyk...... at anything over 290 I'd have Jamie.

however, I'd LOVE to see him qualify..... would be a treat to see if he could really play.
