My sister in law is coming over from San Diego soon and has said if I see anything online and order it to her home she'll bring it over (I'm guessing a tour bag is out of the equation). As a lot of clothing particularly the bigger names like Adidas, Nike etc seem to have US only designs I thought I might have a trawl around. Anyone got any suggestions which is the best one to look at in terms of choice and stock. Not sure where we are in terms of exchange rates.

San Diego does not have a lot of golf stores. The best one is probably Golfsmith (yes, really), in the Mission Valley area near the Fashion Valley mall along the I-8 freeway a short drive from downtown. There is an independent golf store not far away from that called Golf Mart.

Exchange rates are not fantastic, and if she has to pay import duty, probably not worth it.

Homer, you sure you want to bother with the exchange rates the way they are at the moment ??

I go to NY every month and no longer bother with a visit to the golf shop.
