Urban Golf

Off to Urban Golf with a few fellas from work tonight. Should be a laugh as none of us have ever used a simulator before. I am very attracted to the idea of someone serving me beer for a couple of hours whilst I play golf without having to chase after and find my ball!

Anyone else been to Urban Golf or used a simulator? Any good? Which course should we play?

Oh, I thought you meant you were going out and hitting balls in the city streets!!

They've got a Golf Simulator thing at my local range, selling it as a way to "Play 9 holes in 20 minutes". Never tried it.

I've been to both the one in Soho, and Farringdon.

Both great fun, but quite hard to locate if your not careful!!

Watch how your golf gets slowly worse the more beer you drink!!

I've played Pebble Beach, St Andrews and some others. The game where you have to smash windows is good fun.

Putting is quite tricky, so I suggest you set gimmes to the max (12ft I think).

Play 9 dragons its a chineese course, St Andrews isnt great as the fairways and rough look very alike or try pebble beach or habour hill.

I played Pebble Beach. The one at Soho is pretty good but agree that the putting is a bit fiddly. The guys there are also pretty good and will give you some swing advice too if its quiet.

Bit of golf, with some hip hop rap gangsta music on, hoodies, white shell suits and Nike or is it Addidas or Swiss K trainers. maybe you could 'ave ur m8 park 'is Nova outside!
