Tour Rookie
For those who wished me well in my first inter club match we won.
Format 7 fourballs matches 4 at one venue 3 at the other, so 4 pts needed to win match.
My club won 2-1 at our course.
I played in the third of four games at the K Club. The first two games were shared which meant our game was pivotal, this was obvious as both non playing captains were in attendance for the majority of the back nine. We were 4 up after thirteen and finally won 3&1-we went into defensive mode after thirteen and lost the 14th & 16th.
Had a throughly enjoyable game agaisnt two gentlemen, the hospitality shown by the K Club was superb-great team to play against and great company at the after game dinner.
Next round we play our nearest neighbours we have 4 games at home in that game.
