just have a couple days up north this weekend with the camping gear,i stopping in the southwest and as of now we and the gf are booked in for 18 at southerness,does anyone have any suggestions of other good local courses as i only played moffat and dumfries country club

Colvend (just down the road from Southerness) is worth a trip: traditional front nine (the original course) but a totally different back nine. Might not be in the kind of condition that you'll get at Southerness but I liked it !

I'm off to Scotland for 6 days on the 6th of June. There's 16 of us in going, we're playing all 3 courses at Carnoustie and 3 others I'm not sure where exactly though. We got a great deal with the Hilton Hotel in Dundee £12 per night!!
