78 blows with two doubles from the middle of the fairway!

Looking back not to down as it was only my second 18 in 5 weeks. Also had a couple of putts that looked in the hole and decided they didnt fancy the drop. Had a couple of twinges of pain in the finger but not enough to use it as an excuse.

I was quite poor off the tee today which is usually a strong point for me however after 5 weeks out I cant be too disappointed. The only downside is catagory 2 is fast approaching.

Positives are I putted quite well, but a lot of room for improvement so 78, probably about deserved.

The finger at the back of your mind more on the drives?

When i first got back playing after having my foot done, i was always a bit more apprehensive when i was using driver.... for some unknown reason.

I agree that you will be wary of the dodgy digit for a while yet. I still get pain in my right hand 5 years after spraining a finger.
