Having watched alot of golf over the last few years I was wondering if anyone else noticed the guy's who turn up every week and are there or there about's. Making a darn good living out of the game and never get any TV coverage. Damien McCrane springs to mind. Every week he's on the 1st leader board. Today he played bloody good golf, he'll be out with Tiger tomorrow. I know there are other's. How many minutes does he get on TV, none because he (a)he dosen't win much (b) he goes about his business without all the smart comments. and (c) he is Irish.
I will watch tomorrow morning with intrest how many times we see Damien hit shots, hopefully he will play well. I bet they show Tiger every shot.

Before you all think I'm bashing Tiger, I'm not far from it. I'm looking forward to watching Damien

You're flogging a dead horse there Champ.

The TV people only seem interested in Tiger, or the leader, if it's not Tiger. Quite often we get long drawn-out shots of Tigers's face, while his playing partner is taking a shot, which we don't get to see.

Then a lot of time is spent on boring interviews with players who have completed their rounds, while there is golf being played which we would like to see. Much of the TV coverage is downright annoying.

I loved it today when monty was hitting short of the green, and they cut to tiger and the commentator said he's about to play out of these trees, whe someone chipped in, 'i think he's already played out'. Ha Ha. finally we miss a tiger shot....

As much as peter aliss witters on, I like listening to him between shots, he always gives local clubs a mention and talks about the odd golfer who is out playing (maybe not scoring the best)and gives them little limelight.

CC07 after 12 yrs of tiger on tour we all know we will see everything we does on teh course-we even get to see him on teh putting green whilst others are playing good golf on teh course and making moves up the leaderboard.
No matter how good he is i still dont want to see him putting a few balls on the putting green.
