Uncharted 3

Picked this up last week, haven't been able to put it down since, I had uncharted 2 and that was awesome, as is this. The campaign alone is worth every single penny, great story, stunning graphics and some pretty cool puzzles... I urge anyone with a ps3 to get this, you won't be disappointed

Do you have to have played the first 2 to get to grips with the story line? The graphics on the first one were incredible, I can only imagine how they've improved over the couple of years.

I jumped straight in with 3 and loved it....Awesome story and gave me a buzz playing it. The graphics are unreal. Near the start when you are on top of a building looking over London at night...WOW....now playing the first one and that is pretty good too...!

Still working my way through the first one. Then want to get 2 done before I start on 3 (which I own - got it for Christmas).

Nope, different story line that's unconnected to the others, if you have played the first 2 you'll understand the characters better but it really doesn't matter, one of the things I like is it's not just going from room to room shooting bad guys, there's loads of puzzles which are fun and working out how to get to the next place is quite good aswell. The one thing I wasn't impressed by in 2 was the multiplayer, it didn't have enough variation but this is much better,cits hard to explain how, it just is

I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone by telling what happened but I would like to say the 20th level is for me one of the best gaming experiences you will ever play

I traded Uncharted3 in before i finished it, (1st time i didn't complete a game) and got Arkham City instead. I found this to be nearly as mundane and uninteresting to be honest.

Now, Dead Space 1+2, they're a different league all together. Simply awesome games, absolute must plays. (along with the bioshock games).

It's a case of personal preference I suppose. Games you mentioned I would not give a second glace to.

Was looking at adding a new title but I've never played any of these. May have to have a look in the bargain bins for the first two.

I was so board I re installed championship manager 03/04 onto the old laptop, big mistake!! Life taken over again!!

Sold my PS3 when I realised how .... it was but this is one game I would like to play, the Killzones where good aswell but XBOX has way too much over the PS3.
