Unable to open some email links

Recently i can't open certain links in my email inbox. Seems to be any links that have brackets in them, like the , i played today [ rolling thread] and the, and were off Olympic [ no spoilers] thread.
Other threads highlight in blue in the reading pane , but these threads stay black.

I can open them via another thread, then in through the lounge page or the OOB page.
I can open all threads using my kindle or my old Vista Laptop.

I use Hotmail.co.uk , Windows 10 and Google Chrome, Laptop.

Any ideas guys .

Not really sure what you mean. Is it specifically internet links or all links including those in your e-mail?

Do you have internet explorer, the big blue 'e'? If you do try it with that and see if it works. If they work you've isolated the problem.

If that doesn't work I'd try deleting the chrome history. This is also handy to stop people seeing what 'golf' sites you frequent.

If that doesn't work repair or reinstall chrome and see how goes.
