Just wondered if any one uses or as tried two thumb putter grips as my putter is ready for reg-gripping
& was thinking of giving it a go.

not a fan personally, understand the concept of reducing the wrists in the stroke but they remove most of the feel at the same time for me, making distance control a lot harder. plenty of players using them well though so definitely a case of try one and see if it helps you

not used a two thumb but jumbo grips are great. I find with a standard one I get a bit wristy. A jumbo feels a lot more solid.

Had my best putting round last weekend with the new Yes putter & I put it down to the grip being right for me

Agree with this.

I've had an midsize Iomic grip with 4 layers of tape fitted to my Bettinardi and the results so far are pretty good.

Might be worth seeing if you can find one fitted to a putter to try before you commit.

Tiger Shark 2 thumb putter grip for me (same shape but twice the size of a regular grip), add onto a two ball putter and my putting has never been so good. averaging 28.5 so far this season, (GIR stinks though so maybe need to put some on my wedges!!!).

I'd been looking into trying a jumbo grip for some time now and thought I had finally decided on the Winn Jumbo lite which seemed to be the best compromise of being a jumbo grip but not too jumbo!
In the end though I have gone for a midsize grip first which is the Ping PP58 mid cord

I have been using one for a couple of years now and quite like it. I find it easier to try and make a pendulum stroke, straight back and through.

Stephen Gallacher uses one as well.

I have a 2 thumb putter grip on my 2 ball putter. I love it. Since getting it 6 months ago I've improved my putting 10 fold. However, my Dad got one at the same time and is getting his putter re-gripped this week after struggling with it - I would suggest you try before you buy!!

Thanks mate. Will do

Recently purchased the Super Stroke FATSO 5.0 grip.

Have not had it out on the course this weekend due to weather but really like the feel of it, and seems to focus you more on shoulder rock rather than using hands / wrist.

Will keep you posted on the results.

I got paired with a guy off 5 on holiday in Barbados recently He had one of these fat grips on his putter. Has had it for a year. Was a 7 when he got it. Puts his two stroke improvement entirely down to the fat putter grip.

I use the super stroke slim 30 a bit thinner than the fatso/2 thumb and I love it, now everyone I play with keeps eying one up in the clubhouse
