Two Hogan gems.

Great clips - thanks. Massive wrist movement on the putts - that was unexpected. He allows himself plenty of room to swing the club - fantastic swing. For sheer class, however, I think I prefer Snead's swing.

Hogan for me all the way. Lots of golfers back then used their wrists to putt. Today it's a no no. I read somewhere about Hogans presence and the fact that pros went to see Hogan practice, big Jack was one of them.

Moe Norman was one the pros used to watch. Very odd character and highly idiosyncratic but effective swing.

He used to sell prizes to live, which didn't go down well with the establishment, and if 2nd prize would sell better that's what he'd go for.

Used to get bored playing and do odd things in the middle of a comp, like take a wedge off the tee and driver to the green.

Had a look at Tommo's Hogan clips and then found some of Moe Norman as mentioned by Viscount last night.Went out today and shot 66-2-64 round Goswick after a bogey at the 1st.

Cheers Guys.........anyone else "old school" you aint mentioned?
