Probably a stupid one but am just trying to get to grips with twitter If I send a company a tweet can I find out if they've read it or see it on their pages at all.

no. its a guessing game, unless they reply, favourite or retweet, you have no idea.

The only way for you to see your tweet on a companies page, would be if they retweet it.

Oh and you can direct message people (like PM here) but both twitterers must follow each other.

Keeping the hybrid (as long as it behaves) and giving the bag to H4H auction. Trying to win some more goodies for the H4H auction to keep my karma levels at bay.

You can only DM if they follow you, doesnt take both to follow. Stops 'celebs' getting a million DM's everyday

Got experience with both those companies as of late.

First off Footjoy, myself (Khamelion69 on Twitter) and VKrup were exchanging tweets about the lack of Footjoy DNA shoes and not getting a response from anyone who cold tell us what was going on. Footjoy Europe followed me and sent me a direct message explaining demand was out stripping supply. They didn't have to get in touch and even though it didn't help in me getting my shoes they reached out to let me know the score.

Second, Kraxx68, who posts on here occasionally, had bought some TM SLDR irons from AG Gateshead, he was told approx. 2 weeks for delivery, but that timeline came and went, he then got told next week, that passed as well. So he took twitter and a few tweets later the mamager of AG Gaeshead called him to say his clubs would arrive 29th or 30th at the latest. Well that came and went, so we took to twitter again, copying AG Corporate and AG Gateshead in decreeing poor service and threatening to cancel and get his money back. An hour or so later, Kraxx gets a call from a boss in AG Corporate, tell him he would have his clubs on 1st Aug or Monday 4th, he would get a discount as well as a few balls.

So if you tweet the right people, twitter can be your friend in getting stuff sorted.

If Kraxx does get his clubs on Monday it will have been 6 weeks since he ordered them and a lot of empty promises by AG.

My questions direct to FJ europe and the localAG were about a shoe fitting that was happening today at a store half an hours drive away. Two simple questions. What time was it on and what ladies shoes they would have in. Asked three or four days ago. Think I might go and try some ECCO's instead

Sounds a nightmare for Kraxx with his club order.
