Turn off subscripions / notifications - PERMANENTLY!

I keep getting emails advising responses to any thread I've commented in. I know I can go in and delete them on here but is there any way I can instruct the forum not to send them to me in the first place? I don't want my inbox flooded with "there has been a response to....."

If your using the full site (ie not from a mobile/tablet) then select 'Forum Actions' and 'General Settings'. There is a an setting for 'default thread subscription' action, you can deselect the option from there
