Tuesday was a good day

Don't post much (prob need to) but thought you might like to hear about last Tuesday's Sir Norman Wisdon Wooden Spoon charity golf day at Castletown GC here on the Isle of Man, playing with two of my best mates Tony and Craig.

Shotgun start on 15, hit my 3 wood OB (16 handicapper, take a while to warm up lol!). Mooched over to my second hole, the 185 yard par 3 16th.

Holed my 7 iron.

Won a brand new Mini Countryman to the tune of £20k!

It does indeed. No Golf Union events or Open events without prior written permission, but my club (Peel GC) has allowed me to continue to play in club comps off my current handicap, and I have to write for reinstatement to the R&A at some point in the future.
