Truvis pattent ball pattern,

There's lots of discussions floating around about the concept of the truVis ball pattern pertaining to aid concentration or giving better feel with chips an putts.

Most notably the create an impression the ball is constantly sitting UP due to the 3D pattented imprint,

Anyone tried them?

Mod Note ( the op is selling these and has an interest in their promotion. This post has been heavily edited , but is a subject worthy of discussion , so the thread will run.

Op informed of our displeasure)

Are these those football looking balls? I saw 1 at Royal Cinque Ports, had a putt with one and didn't like the weird way it looked as it rolled, as for aiding concentration, why, just because of its pattern? I just concentrate on my personal ball marking, same thing really!?

BIM played at Royal St Georges with balls that were decorated like a football. Not sure that I'd want to use them, they seem that they may be distracting but he certainly liked them

And their RED 😜 Would probably make me smack them harder 😂😂

You may be onto something there!! :D

For me, I like the way you can see when a putt stops skidding and starts rolling or the way a chip spins. Not for everyone & I'd prefer a different colour scheme, but I like them, and I'd probably prefer them on a different ball.

I've just bought 12, tried them for the first time yesterday and thought that they were great. They do seem like they are sitting up more and it's hard not to concentrate on them. I did 5 holes with 3 balls to compare them, 2 normal and 1 truvis and was hooked on them.

It does look like the OP is selling these balls on eBay , and we don't use the forum to promote stuff we have for sale elsewhere ,

So I will make him aware and edit his first post

However it is an interesting subject so will let the thread continue

i enquired about these at a local pro shop close to me. He had 20 dozen delivered and sold out in 3 days. He reckons that the ball looks more pronounced on any lie. He is keeping a dozen back for me when the next batch come in. I use the chromesoft anyway and really rate it.

I think a senior on the tour has been using these for a while

I'm sure for some they will provide a visual help

Posted last night I used one yesterday in a 4 BBB Comp, 23 putts over 15 holes and 47 points as a pair, I knew I'd played well but also commented afterwards in the bar that the ball just seemed easier to hit, have to be honest though it does look a bit gimmicky,

I bought a dozen srixon z stars blue ones off truvis approx 3 years ago so it's not new. It appears to sit proud of the ground and are nice to chip with as you can see the ball spin and check up. I have 2 balls left so might compare the blue and red. Steve Buzza on YouTube is using the red hex chrome soft this season and he seems to like them so far

I will give it a miss then Wayne as they didn't help you at Burnham:lol:

Gee everyone calm down including the mods, is he selling them is he selling them!
Ok long story short, endo last year knocked a good 3 of me hcap an altho cannot certainly say 100% due to switching callaway truvis balls' like anything new it may have a mild affect'

Fst fwd read lots of detail regarding the concept and whole heartly agreed with colour changes to ball and I like disscussions pertaining-
just look at all the lattest techno with clubs!,all superficial as material does not change once the MOI is met from all manuf;
Whats left becomes superficial like colour+ taylormade were almost the first to endorse white headed drivers and went as far to state this colour would become most predomenant!
Far fetched idea at the time and many will colour will rerurn to predomenant black.
Ok I mentioned balls but never hotlinked(mentioned they were avail ebay) no more than anyone else might have done with a new lattest driver an mention where purchased without a hot link,
So please all caln yer Sunday pants there nothing untowards, I never hotlinked just spoke of the techno which i liked so much I did decide to endorse but no hotlink!
