Trophy Nights

Now i think that most clubs have got their presentation nights out of the way, how well did everyone do? i did alright for my first full season of golf, managed to pick up 3 throphy's and two joint ones for being in our Club junior team. But all this was nothing compared to my mate, who pikc up an almightly haul of 10 trophy's. Thats right, 10. Including the Club Champs, Juniour Champs and the Handicap cup. So who in your club one the most trophy's on the night?

I got nowt, but my 11 year old son picked up a couple of medals and the award for "Most promising Boy of 2011" after shaving 16 shots of his handicap this year.

between my 2 clubs i picked up 3 trophies.....

@ callander there is a junior who won nearly all of the junior comps and a few things in the gents section and was runner up in the club championship.he won it last year.

the club champion won a few things,maybe 4 or so.

We still have one more to presentation to go (we have 3 per year), and this is from Sept onwards. I will have a 2nd place in a board comp, and a 1st in the Daily Mail foursomes comp.

That's excellent. Smiffy has been playing 107 years and has only managed to knock 15 off his.

A silly amount - 10 at the last presentation evening and we have 2 a year. Think I got about 6 at the one in June.

Moving from 19.2 to 13.8 shows I've been playing better than handicap in the main so making hay whilst the sun shines!

Presidents Cup was the big one and the one I'm most proud of Also quite proud of the nett runners up in the Ladies Championship (my 1st one) which is over 36 holes and winning the winter league.

Next year will be different but that's fine. Not really in them to win them rather than get a cut !
