Does this mean that The Ladies Golf Club, Troon will now allow gentlemen members?

Troon is different to Muirfield given that there have been 2 clubs playing there. Makes sense to just merge the clubs.

The course used for final qualifying in Scotland (Glasgow Gailes) is also male only - surely they can't use this again? Plenty alternative courses in Scotland without such practices.

i thought they already allowed ladies, they have a ladies club after all.

lets not forget, 99.9% of the population cannot join these clubs and thats still going to be the case.

i think its a bit of a media issue rather than, there a conscious social issue, after all the R&A was male only until recently and they run the sport.
