So, at the PGA last week, Cameron Tringale wafted his putter over a tap-in and doesn't count the stroke.
Now, a week later, he has contacted the PGA and asked to be DQ'd

All very good and honest but the question has to be asked - Why has it taken this long..?

Don't think he got enough coverage from them to give a verdict I'd bet the only person who picked up on this was himself.

Not if they weren't aware they had incurred a penalty. He was aware he should have had a penalty before the comp closed. Decision 34-1b/1

So only a Player can DQ themselves after the published results, not the governing body of the tournament?
