Off today for my practice round at the oxfordshiree. Any tips ahead of Fridays main event?

Play your normal game.
It's tough. Camera on you as you tee off, but I doubt if you'll see another one on the way round so relax.

Enjoy it! Decide today what you want to play off the first, and stick to it on the day, then let the rest of the day happen.

Don't chase it, looking at other events around 32-36 points with see you through to the Bucks, which is what it's all about.

Fantastic golf course too, I tested it out with one of the Trilby Tour guys about a month ago. Enjoy!

Well 40 points of my handicap today off the trilby tees ( all the advertising boards already out) so 38 points off 3/4s!
Hope I ain't jinxed it for Friday, will update in Friday lol

How did you do on that Par 5 towards the end (16 or 17 I think)? I was on in 3 at the back of the green and only 6 over for the round and putted it off the fricking green!!!!! Completely destroyed me, ended up with a double bogey and another on 18. Infuriating.

17? The one with water that u can go up a left or right fairway? I was in back bunker for 3 but got up and down for a 5 for 3 points

Hope you haven't peaked too soon. As others have said play your own game. Now you know your way round, play within yourself and enjoy it
