Well I don't normally knock this tour as played in the singles for 4 years but that's enough for me. However watching the match play final last night the guy who won the 1st should of lost it as he was in the trees and pulled plants up to improve his lie now I thought that was lose of hole in match play or am I wrong. Even the commentator mention it in jest

seriously? unbelievable and recorded on TV.......is it on youtube yet?

The TT just keeps on giving

Not on YouTube yet but on sky sports 4 at 2pm today. It was the final and the guy who improved his lie won it out right if he had lost that hole as it's a 3 hole format the other guy would of won 2/1.

i only switched it on at the end of the program and saw him ripping out a couple of nettles from around the ball.

mind you some of the putting on show was the biggest crime;)

I've played the course quite a lot and what's more worrying is I'm pretty much sure them trees on the left over the fence where he was is OOB. They may have changed it for the Trilby Tour for some reason but can't see why.

But as people have said he is blatently ripping out plants from around his ball!

Got to hand it to Rob Lee though. I thought his witty commentary on the goings on was pure class!:D

I thought it was OOB as local rules generally state OOB as 'over any fence or boundary'.........The guy nearly ripped his strides getting over the fence! The he showed the plant life who was boss on a couple of occasions!

Pure light hearted class IMO........by Rob Lee... lets not take it too seriously..........:) (prepared to be shot down now!)

No problem with what rob lee said but if rules are broken that easy by the finalist how many more rules could he of broken on the way to winning and for the TT marshals not picking him up on it makes it worse and showing it on tv.

I thought his obvious annoyance at his missus running over to him on the green after he won was hilarious. She's trying to give him a congratulatory hug and he's trying to pull away haha.

Watched it last night and even my Mrs commented on how poor the golf was - ok it was the final, they'll have been nervous etc etc but it was pretty poor from both of them.

In one of the semi's one of the guys hit a putt from about 4ft and missed right, before the ball had even stopped rolling he knocked the ball in. He ended up losing but surely this isn't right.

wow just seen the incident lol, how thats not out of bounds Ill never know but as for his treatment of loose and not so loose impediments just embarassing, would love to know what the beligerent Trilby defenders have to say on it

couldnt find any 2013 TT on youtube, is it anywhere else

Just seen the footage on Sky and yes he does move some vegetation and uproot another, with Rob Lee's comment being "Ohh, just snapping the odd branch, nothing to serious" Then when he took his stance he took a back swing as what looks like a practice to see if he had club room to swing and moved some more plant life, with the comment being " that's that out the way".

And for both breaches of the rule, which I believe is 13-2 in match play he would've lost the hole.

Looks a boring tournament to be honest,no atmosphere,no support.
Shocking breach of the rules.
Great commentary by Rob though.
Loved it when the guy duffed chipped his fourth and Rob said he was close to his fifth as it
was just in front of him.

I cant believe this even makes the tv. The commentary is not much and thats the best bit. Its just a money spinner for william hunt, but at the cost of others reputations.
F it sas marshalled properly and the correct penalties for every breach I dont think half as many would enter, it seems to me to be a club for cheats and bandits to boost their own egos
