Going away this year, taking clubs so need a case, can anyone recommend a decent one please.

Is there any I should avoid ?

I use an ancient rubbish one, pro tip: stick a length of wood in that is longer than your driver just in case the handlers do anything daft

mate of mine has 2 brand new John letters travel bags for sale.. £35 delivered

he has one himself went to Dubai for golf and it was great he said

Just be careful of the weight some airlines will only give you 15kgs my bag with clubs and nothing else in is 12 kgs get the lightest one you can find.
if it's over they charge £10 per kilo.
I have a callaway one no wheels or fancy handles off eBay weighs 2.5 kgs

On this note try and fly BA because the sports bag counts as your normal baggage allowance of 22 or whatever it is so you stuff the rest of your gear in and take a cabin bag as well.

No being charged for sports/oversized baggage nonsense.

I've got a Club Glove (https://www.clubglove.com/), used it for two years now, very good. A little snug around the bottom of my carry bag, but once in, plenty of room for clothes and shoes, only took a carry on alongside it. When I purchsed it in the UK, it came with a free Stiff Arm too.
