No real surprise with Pyrford, Hoebridge and West Byfleet all on the doorstep. Most of their members have joined/are joining Pyrford.

Apparently it will become a 9-hole par-3 course, small driving range and adventure golf complex. One of my Pyrford colleagues suggested it could be turned into muddy farmland - so it could re-open immediately.

Sorry to hear but as has been mentioned in another thread I think we're going to see a few going over the winter as people pull out.

No tears from me. It was always boggy, bland and no atmosphere. Good news for Pyrford to get more income for no real work. Can't even see it working with a range when you have an excellent range at Hoebridge and Silvermere

This is certainly no loss to the Surrey golfing landscape, but then Pyrford next door is pretty dull too.
