Traditional or Unconventional

When it comes to watching Pro golf, which do you prefer?

Conventional
Adam Scott
Justin Rose
etc

Unconventional
Bubba Watson
JB Holmes
etc

personally, i really dont enjoy watching Bubba play golf and would much rather watch someone who swings it 'properly' for want of a better expression.

I like a bit of both. Big Phil is a good example of the style I like watching. Anything can happen but he tries to play conventionally

Love Bubba's swing. As someone with a high swing plane, I take satisfaction that one day I can be as good as him (lolz).

Don't really mind as long as they are good and don't dither. Sadly the latter means no JB Holmes who is frequently overtaken by house decorators rushing home to watch paint dry

It doesn't bother me TBH. I'm not watching to learn, I watching to be entertained. Besides, it's good to know that you don't have to be textbook perfect to be good

I've always had a penchant for unorthodox (Trevino, Brian Barnes, Furyk, Bubba) but love the textbook swing of a McIlroy, Donald or Fowler so have a foot in both camps

Don't care, it's all golf.

It's amazing how many text book swings fail to get it round in low numbers.

It just goes to show.

That said, I don't need loads of swing analysis for the extra curricular ones.

Fowler's swing was very much his own. Gone a bit more traditional since working with butch.

Its seen him play some of his best golf. Holds up better under pressure a lot more than his other swing that needed quite a bit of timing to get right.
