Hi, I've been golfing for two or three years now and the handicap is finally moving in the right direction but I feel I have lost 10-15 yards in each iron.
I was looking to find a range where I can use a trackman or something similar at the start of the season to get an accurate understanding of my distances.
Can anyone recommend a place to go in the Central Scotland area that would do this service.

Thanks,

Davie.

Indoor golf centre @ Tradeston have a GC2.

World of Golf Clydebank have Trackman as does Johnstone Castle Range.

Affordable golf in either Glasgow city centre of East Kilbride will hire you GC2 at £10 for the hour. Could probably do full set in 60-90 mins depending on how many different wedge distances you are looking for.

The 'Game Golf' system will also do this for you. Quite expensive gadget just for this but you get to use it at your own course / use your usual ball / take an average of shots into & with the wind / etc. You could always sell it on when you've finished with it?

You will need a range with decent golf balls if you are looking for accurate yardage info. If you are not after spin information (ball dependent also) I would be inclined to go to a practice ground and hit 10 or more shots with each club.
