Slightly under the radar company, but i stumbled across there uk website while looking for hybrids and possibly a 3 wood

Where on earth can you go hit these?

Not a fan of buying stuff without hitting it first

I just bought mine over the net, but I have seen them in some pro shops. Sand martins being one. I think any club affiliated to fore most golf would do them. Could be wrong though.

Give the Pro at West Byfleet a call.

If it's still the same guy, he was the one that brought the brand into UK,

Fairhaven (Blackpool area) had a significant range - both the Bazooka and the Exotics - when I was there, but that was a long time ago.

I've certainly seen them about and owners are quite devoted. I only recently parted company with my CB1 that was really great.

Spotted them online, you can get the xcg, xcg3 and xcg4 fairways for £125 which I thought was quite good considering they're titanium, looking for more reliable options off the tee till I work out what's going wrong with my driving

They're also doing geomax bazooka hybrids for £59 each which I though was good, since I think I want to pop 2 hybrids into my bag

I kinda like a dark horse brand myself always been a bit odd like that

Definitely worth auditioning then! But important to actually audition - as look/feel is actually important (imo).

Wiltshire isn't too far from West Byfleet! Though there may be a significant stockist (Broome Manor or West Wilts perhaps?) nearer.

Brooke manor rings a bell where's that?

I used to deliver post to west wilts, didnt notice tour edge in ther though, might pop up and see though

I just want some reasonably priced hybrids that are easy enough to hit and the 3/4 wood for off the tee and fairway

From memory, Broome Manor is on the West side of Swindon - PM Hospital dominates the scenery. It's run by Swindon Council, so may or may not be part of the Foremost network. David Howell started there and it was the venue for my first 'lesson' too. Wise words - 'You're a hockey player aren't you; slow the swing down and finish it!'.

The guy at West Byfleet will be in the best position to advise - 01932 346584 or david.regan@foremostgolf.com.

The shop at Broome isn't very well stocked so I doubt it would have what you are after but there is a good shop in Swindon close to the retail outlet place (sorry can't remember the name but google should reveal something) and Wrag Barn also has a well stocked shop, might have more luck in one of those two

Edit: just found this link

Do tony valentines stock them I've been a few times and not seen any there?

Be good if they did

Sorry no idea, only been there once. But it does seem to be the best shop in the area so if anyone does it's most likely to be them.

Just spoken to the West Byfleet Pro Shop.

Things have changed slightly from how it was when I looked in early noughties.

Foremost (buying group/network of/for Club Pros) are now the distributors of Tour Edge in UK, so any Foremost Pro will have access. If you go on to the Foremost Golf website (http://www.foremostgolf.com) you can 'Find a Pro' and even reference Brand.

Bowood, West Wilts and Chippenham come up for Wiltshire. so give them a ring and check how much of the range they stock. You may need to try a Postcode search if they only have access rather than actually stock, but Bowood looks a good candidate.

This won't be of any help to you apart from that my mate a couple hybrids that are really nice. I borrowed them a couple of years ago for a round when I was just starting again and I hit them really really well. Haven't a clue where he got them from (poss 2nd hand) but they were a very nice club.

Bowood, posh

I think I'll ask up west wilts firstly as that's on my way to work

Cheers guys

Tour Edge is a brand with two distinct lines, the Exotics and the other stuff. The Exotics stuff is high quality, well made and uses high end "real" components and has two models, an XCG and CB. The latter is a better players club.

They have a reputation for making great fairway woods, but I am sure the drivers and hybrids are pretty good too. They are also known for their length and the way the ball cracks off the face. Luke Donald used one for a while and I think Brandt Snedeker might have done so too. They don't have any contract players, so tend not to get as much of an uptake as other better promoted brands.

You can get them in most of the big places in the US, but over here it seems to be confined to Foremost Golf. Well worth a look.

They are the 3rd biggest seller in America, and have a great reputation.Henley GC and Kings Norton GC stock them in the midlands. KNGC is well worth a visit, you can have a round while you're there.

The U.S golf forums seem to rave about them, they certainly seem good

The prices are eye watering for some £300 for a 3 wood is insane really but there's a few on offer on the website
