Topping ball with driver

Morning folks,

I use a burner superfast 2010 model, and I find that I keep topping the ball when driving.

At moment I use the pink castle tees.
I tried using a taller crown tee, which helped a lot as the ball sat up a lot more. And I am thinking of buying some 3 1/2 inch and 4 inch normal tees to see if they help.

I was just wondering what other players used for their drivers.

When you say you're topping it, is it bouncing down the fairway or screaming along about 5 feet off the grass?

its flying say 100 yards but then smashing to the ground hard as though I am putting top spin on the ball.

When teed up higher it flies 200+ yards with a nice bit of draw.

and yes it goes 5-7 feet off grass with shorter tee.

So would you say it's more of a thin (hitting the ball around it's middle) compared to a top which hits the top of the ball?

I would say I am hitting towards top of ball. and thats why it goes 100 yards and then shoots towards ground hard, not via a natural fall but as though top spin had been applied.

I would have thought if i had hit in middle it would have flown further.

If you hit the top of the ball, it would dive into the ground about 3-5 inches in front of your tee, leaving a hole in the ground then bounce down the teeing ground
