Hi I work for a company in the Midlands, and we have just done some work for another company (who I cannot name) but this is the best of what I know!
This is a brand new golf company being launched and it is a UK MADE golf products! they are starting with a Wedge which looked stunning but their main objective is top quality components and technology not mass produced foreign crap that gets released by the big boys they have also got some top club builder that has designed for other companies to create the perfect golf wedge , and there second product looked like a putter again British made but GET THIS they are putting in a solid British silver insert that had a hallmark on and the feel they reckon cannot be beat , when I fished for info they didn’t tell me much only that the stuff will not be over the top priced and will easily compete with the big boys on price but surpass them on quality
Anyhow all I’ve got at the mo will let you know more info if I get any , but spread the word a company outside china is finally going to build actual golf products big boys watch out as I and all my golf mate would buy British if we could
A.A

what are you talking about? trying to find out how many other people are as intersted as me on this , please have somthing constructive to add as i am sick of buying cheap replica's of so called top gear from China, try to help the situation , anyhow how many marketing peeps work on a sunday ??

by the way all your clubs listed as what you use are all made in Fu Sheng in China for about $8 a piece!!!! with recycled indain/china steel/ alloy and plastic ODDY putter
Now are you not interested?

Unfortuately EVERYTHING is made in China now, it is just a fact of life, we have no one else but ourselves to blame for this, we want cheap and a British factory worker that wants £400.00 per week and a late start/early finish and every weekend off does not make cheap.
We want quality of life so cheap products from Europe are a thing of the past, the upshot of this is high unempolyment that will only get worse whilst China booms.
I applaud British workers producing golf gear but are we prepared to pay the premium that goes along with this.
I'm not sure people will, sad I know but ultimately true.

Its not that top secret mate.

There is a club builder close to me who makes his own heads, fits them to any shaft you want, any grips you want and usually much cheaper than big names. Also a couple of pro's use his clubs, but they are branded by the pro's main sponsor, similar to what vega and muira do.

I know when I outgrow my S2's I'm onto him for a full set of Irons Wedges and hubrids.

So what is the top secret info, you can't expect us to be your research subjects unless you actually tell us something interesting

bad news your pro does not build his own clubs he buys the m from guess where?? China unless he has a foundry in the UK highly doubtfull wake up and smell the coffee no pro makes clubs they buy em and glue em
this stuff is british and they have invested millions to MAKE them

Unfortunately you do not need a foundry to mill clubs. And that is exactly what he does, he is a master club maker, not builder a maker Andy do you understand the difference between a maker and builder??? :D

Me thinks the way you are talking you should now be looking to pay advertising fee's to GM. I'm sure within Monday or Tuesday GM towers will get shot of ANDY KNOWS NO GOLF.

I put I would not but british, especially if they were anything to do with Andy. Maybe if they are off a reliable source such as my local maker I would as I said before, but if I can get china stock items at a better price and they give me the same game why spend more.

I also said YES I'm tired of lazy researchers, there is another forum plagued with Spammers and 'researchers'. And I wish they would either pay advertising, or send out a survey with the magazine or put them in local clubs and stores etc...

Are they so secret that they will never advertise and actually sell anything?
Cold hard evidence to give this thread some substance otherwise it wil be filed along with the other suitably poor fishing threads created.

Unless you are prepared to provide more information including a weblink then your post does come over as nothing more than a piece of cheap marketing, fishing for opinions. Why the big secret if they are already going into production. As you say most manufacturers (Ping, Nike, TM, Cally etc) all come from China but if its good enough for the top players then I'm sure it is good enough for my game

the top golfers dont use the same as us you are using a replica!!
youtube after market stock shaft and you will seewhat i mean , also the dummies that think they have club makers here in the UK or in any part of europe dream on a cnc milling does not make a club builder or maker anyone who thinks clubs are made anywhere in the worldi as kyou to google it and find me one!!
as for info on this company it will happen when it happens i just work for a foundry company so havn't a clue when they will launch , but i think people have to get somthing straight ALL clubs are made in china unless the are made in Japan and a plead you to google TAYLOR MADE clubs in japan and see what you pay for them as they are not the same sh*t the churn out to golf superstores

no but you would buy a alloy cast head with a piece of plastic in it and put oddy on it any you will pay £149 and you think silver is naff!

Perhaps you should worry less about golf clubs and concentrate more on your spelling and punctuation...

Andy I think you've gone all about this the wrong way. Aside from thinking you know everything about every golf company in the uk that either manufactures or puts together clubs you seem to know very little.

Now everyone on this forum will tell all their golf buddies who'll tell theirs by the end of the week the whole country will be avoiding the clubs from central UK. Great business model. Piss off all your prospective market till they laugh you out of a job.

A wise man once said 'ANDYGOLF sod off' :D

Do us all favour and either back up your comments or leave us in the happy community we have, albeit with replica clubs. Well to be honest when it comes to replicas for the average person I'm sure if it does the job we not arsed if it has plastic, silver or chewing gum in it.
