How many people go? Ive started to really hate going. Not only is it incredibly over priced (£5.50 a "game" for 20 balls) but I was worried id ruined my driver today. Had to go downstairs today in a bay that had a pillar on the left hand side and on my backswing I was paranoid it would smack this pillar so in trying to avoid that I managed to smack the driver head into the ball tray by the mat making a horrible clunk. Didnt dare test it out again.

Can't wait to get back to the proper range!

Been to Addlestone a few times. Good for a laugh with mates but wouldn't use it for a practice session. Hope the driver is ok

Im hoping its fine.. will be going down the range ASAP to test it out.. I keep telling myself its only few months old so I could most likely get a replacement either through the manufacture or through the golf insurance but its not the point!

I think thats where I go wrong. I try and treat it as practice and end up having an awful time

Top Golf is more interesting than most driving ranges, because you have targets you can aim at and get a score, nearer the middle scores more points. Strangely addictive, and you get reasonable quality balls and heated bays. From a practice point of view it is ridiculously expensive at £5.50 for 20 balls. They used to do practice deals, but now they don't, unfortunately! :(

From what I've seen of it if looks a great idea to make driving ranges more fun for the casual Golfer who wants to have a decent night out based around some games on the diving range.

Just a quick update, went the proper range today.. Driver is not broken yay lol. Hit some lovely drives.
