Been seriously trying to do as many top 100 as I can in 2017 and wondered who on here has done the most? Anyone a member of a top 100? Think I've done around 18/100 so far

I have played around 40 of the top 100, the number varies depending on which list you refer to (GM, top 100 website or the Golf World list)
Incidently the Golf World list doesn't take into account clubhouse facilities or general visitor experience, it only considers the actual course and can offer quite a varied list to that of the others.
I am a member of Ferndown which is top 100. I am also keen to play as many as possible, and hope to tick off about 10 more this year.

pretty good going - I think the golf monthly one is the best. I think they should consider the overall experience personally. I did like them taking out the "no visitor" courses as well.

Personally when I am looking at the top 100 courses to play, I am most interested in course layout/design and conditioning, I am not really too interested in clubhouse facilities etc, I want to play the best layouts.
Obviously the other bits are important if you are considering a club to be a member of.
They are all good lists and I believe offer different perspectives for different golfers needs.

Ive done about 20, that includes my home course Nairn which is no33 on the GM top 100 courses. Mostly in in Scotland TBH as i live in the north of Scotland and only been playing since 2006.

69 of the current GM list. I'm a member of 2 clubs, one in the top 100 and the other in the next 100 so I guess I'm pretty fortunate.
I'll be ticking a few more off this year but no where near close to 69. Think its mid 20's, and about 400 courses in total.

I will guess MikeH will be along at some point as I am sure he is into the 80s or 90s.
I have played 38 and have got 15 more booked this year and a couple more for 2018 booked.
