Had a very pleasant afternoon in good company with Captainron, GB72 and Wherediditgo at Spalding. I had already played a QR in the morning and the Spalding round was my 8th round in 8 days. I think I deserve to do very little tomorrow. Anyone else feeling a bit golfed out?

Ish.

I've played a lot recently but will always be up for the next round. I haven't disliked any round i've played no matter how good or bad it's been (hit my PB of 80 two days ago) and whilst my ball striking may be getting better each time, my concentration does seem to waver if I've played back-to-back. I think a three or four day (even a week) break would help BUT I'm of the mind to make hay whilst the sun shines.

Have a break for 2 days now ( after 6 games in 7 days ) then it will be another 6 rounds in a row

A break for a day wont do any harm but keep playing as plenty of time to put yer feet up in the winter ............................EYG

I'm just back from our captains weekend and 3 rounds in 3 days on very hilly courses has left me glad to be back in the office. Had a cracking weekend though on some new courses and played some very good golf even winning myself a new Callaway stand bag.

In recent years i've been a casual golfer and have only been able to play about 20 times a year, during this time if i've played well I feel satisfied and almost don't want to play again for a while. It's when i've been hitting/scoring badly that i've wanted to get straight back out there and put it right. I've found this odd, but since re-joining a club in the last few months I hope that changes otherwise i'm in for a big waste of money!!!
