He's now +6 and 3 shots off the cut and STILL we are subjected to seeing more of him than others at the top half of the leaderboard.

There's over 100 players above him and the excessive coverage of him is unnecessary, IMO

Whilst I'm not a fan of it, the viewing figures from the US Open were circa 40% down this year because Tiger wasnt playing!!

No wonder they show him all the time when he attracts that many viewers.....

try telling that to the advertisers and the sponsors, was always going to see lots of him on his return, viewing figures been awful whilst he's been away

Understand the viewing figures etc etc but thats why i dont watch the US events with him in it - its just all Tiger - good when playing well - but when double figure digits away from the lead not even making the cut ? No sorry

Watched the first 15 minutes and switched off, only golfer shown/talked about was Woods. Nothing against the guy and I understand he's just back from a lay off but I want to see more than him when I watch the golf.

Well look at it another way, his foundation and charities will benefit from his appearance and we will benefit from a Tigerless weekend when he misses the cut. Win win.

Can you imagine what's going to happen to the game of golf when Tiger retires?

I think the space time continuum will implode and the universe will tear itself out of existence.

So it will be better then :D

Oh well at least its only for 2 days and then we can watch the real challengers sat and sunday.

Maybe a little quick to say he's missed the cut? If he does miss the cut then what else would you expect from a guy who's been out for months?

Buttt don't worry Phillip there will be plenty of coverage of him for you in the coming years now he's fighting fit

Its ok ill just watch the coverage at the weekends - should be tiger free most weekends ;)

Do you only watch golf when Woods is playing ? Including the majors ?

What happens when he does retire ?

Nooo of course not... I even watch some of the LPGA but I'll admit I enjoy it a lot more when Tigers playing.

I'm a Villa fan so I have to get excited over one of the sports stars/teams I support and Villa certainly don't provide much for me to cheer about
