Was sat going through my bucket list of courses I'd love to play, and it occured to me that fitting them all in whilst I'm still playing to a reasonable standard is just not possible. I don't want to go to some of the tough ones on the list, e.g. Muirfield, with my game waning.
And then there's the cost! There are 4 Open courses still yet to visit, and likes of Wentworth & Sunningdale. Then add a whole host of premier league clubs like Burnham & Berrow, Walton Heath, Little Aston, St George's Hill, Royal St David's, Royal Dornoch etc. And then there's the ones I'd like to revisit like St Andrew's, Carnoustie, Royal West Norfolk etc.
And ticked off the list in the last few years? Only the revisit to Woodall Spa earlier this year, which as many will remember was a very wet experience.
I need to get off my fat *&%$ and get some quality courses played.
