The mighty Eagles, 40 points and safe! Surely if Rodgers doesn't win it for Liverpool then Puiis must get it. At Christmas we were rubbish and as good as relegated now...... Whoopie what a change!!

Not the prettiest to watch but he's done a great job.

Just make sure your boys roll over when the Liverpool Express come to town:thup:

yep think he has done a cracking job and would be my choice after Brendan

Yala went around Baines for the first like he wasn't there! I expect that Liverpool and City are worried about coming to Selhurst - and if they are not, they really should be.

But its amazing what sort of team can be put together with £8 million - £180 odd million less than the cost of the Chelsea team we faced the other week.

TP is fast becoming a legend. :D

Fair play, I don't think I've given him enough credit in the past, with the way he had Stoke "playing" I was worried it would be more of the same at Palace! Credit where it's due when I've seen Palace since he's taken over they've been excellent!

He's always said that he can only play tactics with the players and money at his disposal. If he were in charge at Arsenal I'm sure he'd play differently than at Palace and get results there.

What he did within a week of arriving was to organise the team, get them playing for each other and stimulate the fans, who quite frankly, have been amazing! He is a top guy!

Didn't Allardici say that also, I've only seen his sides play long ball though.

Pulis's Crystal Palace seem different though, they seem to use the wingers very well. Have you gone more long ball, or not under the PE teacher?

Any palace fans fancy a ticket swap for the LFC game for my Hillside K of K place, free accomodation thrown in as well..........meals also - missus does a mean brekky and coq au vin.

Unless Liverpool win the CL or Chelsea do the double then Pulis should win the manager of the year for me. It really doesn't matter what style of football he plays, his objective was to keep palace. Tbh I don't even think Palace play bad football.

Allardice at our place only played the long ball and were well beaten.

No, we have played less long ball than some of the established mid table sides I've seen this season. He does use Puncheon and Bolasie as out and out wingers and the only way I can describe our offensive play us that we rampage forward. If we only had a real goal scorer we would have trounced many a team this season.

I'd love to let you have my ticket but it's embarrassing seeing a grown man crying in the heart of the Palace stand - just ask Bluein Munich if you don't believe me!

Pulis and Allardyce are both experts at playing the best with what they have. They both show that you don't need to spend 100s of millions to be competitive.

Good win for ye last night Chris fair play, bit disappointed as a toffee but good result ,
Martinez will be there or there abouts for it aswell
but I think Brendan Rodgers will just shade it , not just because they are top but with the quality of football pool are playing ,

I doubt they are worried, I do think they will both approach it professionally and prepared.
