My name is Tony Johnstone, I am a PGA teaching professional at Staining Lodge Golf Course.

I have just launched my YouTube channel and am looking for golfers like you to subscribe. Its absolutely free and may just help you knock some shots off your score.

I've currently uploaded 2 videos with another coming tomorrow. I aim to upload at least 1 a week. If you are struggling with your game and want some advise please post below and I may just feature my next video on you!

Thank you :)

Hi Qwerty, thank you for watching the video :)

Haha, no I'm only 5'11" but your right about my putter, its actually 29" ;)
I have long arms and like my arms relatively straight as I believe it promotes a more solid one-piece movement and gives greater control for distance. It also helps me get over the ball in set up :)

Good luck, enjoyed the vids and will try the tip about using the back of the green distance. A video on starting with the hips on the down swing would be good.
One point, on the second video the sound on the opening titles is much loader than when you start to speak, probably showed up more because I was using earphones.

why not post a youtube video link?

It's a crazy idea but it just might work:whistle:

P.S a video on EE (the cause of SO many issues with ams) would be useful:thup:

Hi DaveL, glad you enjoyed the videos, thank you for informing me of the sound issue, I wasn't aware it was different volumes, the intro is just temporary until I get something more professional but I will certainly check it out :)

Great tip in the video Tony about taking the distance to the back of the green and not the middle tried it yesterday and shot 6 over gross, not played since before Christmas due to having pneumonia and also was using my new R15 driver which helped a little bit.

Nice to hear from you again Graham. I'll get in touch for a game when the weather picks up

Hi gjbike, thanks for your comment, I'm glad your over your illness and back playing well :) My mum had pneumonia a few years ago and it took her months to get back on her feet.

Its often the simple tips that bring the best results. I'm doing my first product review today so video should be uploaded tonight or tomorrow :)

Thanks TJ have subscribed... Getting a wee bit bored with the usual suspects online so never enough good coaches to subscribe too....

As a wee note personally as a newbie I love watching swing theory and tips for the multitude of shots there are.... Knowledge is power!

I know a lot of regulars hate these type of videos but too many vlogs and equipment reviews is off putting for moi
