I only caught two fights, C smith and the bomber, but wow it does look like the city has a couple of crackers.

ive seen smith (on the box) a few times, the lad never fails to impress. So big for his weight, towers over his competitors. You'd think he'd lack the power of the smaller thicker set guys but none of it. Them body punches are brutal. The kid looks to have a great future.

while the bombers time is now, he looks the part, his eyes would scare me half to death! He's horrible, like a proper boxer should be. Gets in the ring and wants a tear-up. Trusts that he hits harder than you. The ko punch reminded me of frochs v groves.
If cleverly manages to get out the city alive tonight and they arrange the fight, we should be in for a belter.

I'm getting more and more tired of watching any of Eddie Hearns shows. It always seems like quantity over quality.

Re: Callum Smith, he is a the best of the Smith brothers and a decent domestic fighter but that's about it. Not sure how Paul Smith has got a World title shot lined up as there's at least 4 other British super middle weights more deserving. But that's what fast Eddie does, I mean there's no way Quigg should of held a title before Quigg.

Re: Bellew, he showed he isn't world level when he was battered by Stephenson. Probably the only reason he stepped up in weight as he has no chance in beating Stephenson or Kovalev, he just doesn't have the power to trouble top elite fighters.

Cleverley v Bellew will go ahead but its a bit of a nothing fight. Why aren't they going for titles? Because Hearn knows they'll get found out and this is the best way for him to try and sell out an arena and make some quick cash.
